9 Best AI Sales Agents in 2026, Compared by Job

Not every sales tool with an AI button is an agent. These nine products can execute a documented, bounded sales job across prospecting, nurture, dialing, or coaching. We make the human boundary explicit.

Quick verdict

Choose by job, not by the size of the AI claim. HubSpot is the cleanest CRM-native prospecting option. Salesforce focuses on email nurture for known records. Qualified owns inbound website and email conversion. 11x, Artisan, and AiSDR pitch fuller autonomous outbound loops. RegieGO keeps agents and reps in one prospecting workflow. Nooks accelerates rep-led calling without pretending the AI conducts the conversation. Gong AI Trainer owns rehearsal and structured feedback before a live call.

What counts as an AI sales agent here

An agent needs a closed, inspectable work loop. It receives context, decides within a defined permission set, takes an action, observes the result, and either continues or hands the work to a person. Generating a paragraph on demand is a feature. Owning a prospecting, nurture, dialing, or practice loop is an agent job.

ScopeOne job and one goal
ObserveCRM, buyer, or call context
DecideAct, wait, or escalate
ExecuteSend, route, dial, or coach
RecordOutcome and human handoff

This is deliberately different from our AI GTM agents comparison, which covers broader research, signal, data, and orchestration layers. A broad GTM platform can coordinate several systems without owning a buyer-facing sales job. This page tests the narrower execution claim.

How we selected and compared the products

We reviewed current official product pages, help centers, release notes, and pricing pages on Aug. 20, 2026. We did not create vendor accounts, run live campaigns, or treat vendor case studies as portable evidence. The list therefore reports documented capability and commercial packaging, not observed conversion performance.

  • Inclusion: the product must execute or simulate a bounded sales job, not merely summarize data or draft copy on request.
  • Agent boundary: we report what the software does, what a rep must still do, and where approval or escalation can happen.
  • Current naming: Salesforce's former “Agentforce SDR” is listed under its current name, Agentforce Lead Nurturing.
  • Pricing discipline: published prices are dated. “Quote required” means the vendor does not publish a usable public number.
  • Order: numbering follows the buyer journey and job coverage; it is not a universal performance league table.

Publisher conflict: Overloop publishes this article. Overloop and the related YourMax.ai product are excluded from the ItemList because neither is the bounded independent agent being compared here. No vendor paid for inclusion.

HubSpot

1. HubSpot Breeze Prospecting Agent

CRM-native prospecting

HubSpot gives its Prospecting Agent a specific pre-pipeline job: monitor buying signals, research accounts, source or enrich contacts through connected providers, and prepare personalized outreach inside Sales Hub. A seller can review and edit messages before they send, then move to autonomous mode when the play is stable.

The key advantage is context. The agent operates inside HubSpot's CRM rather than requiring a separate sync layer for records, engagement history, and ownership. It is a weaker fit if HubSpot is not the team's operating system or if the planned cost model is based on sends rather than the vendor's billable outcome.

Best forTeams already running sales and marketing context in HubSpot.
Agent actionMonitors, researches, sources contacts, drafts, and can send.
Commercial model$1 for each lead the agent recommends for outreach.

Watchout: define what makes a recommendation billable, which providers supply contact data, and which plays can send without review. Price the expected number of recommended leads, not just the number of emails.

Salesforce

2. Salesforce Agentforce Lead Nurturing

Known-prospect email nurture

Salesforce renamed Agentforce SDR to Agentforce Lead Nurturing, and the new name is more precise. The agent works records assigned from Salesforce, sends initial and nudge emails, answers questions from approved company material, handles opt-outs, and hands interested prospects to a seller for meeting booking.

This is not a general outbound list builder. Its strength is governed nurture around Salesforce records, permissions, activity history, seller calendars, and Sales Engagement. Salesforce documents an optional manual-approval mode, a 14-day approval window, and a default limit of 20 sales agents. Those operating constraints matter more than an abstract “autonomous” label.

Best forEnterprise Salesforce teams with known prospects to nurture.
Agent actionEmail outreach, nudges, grounded answers, opt-outs, and handoff.
Commercial modelRequired Salesforce editions and add-ons plus metered Agentforce usage.

Watchout: ask Salesforce to map one complete nurture scenario to editions, add-ons, Sales Engagement requirements, Conversations or Flex Credits, and expected monthly consumption. The generic Agentforce rate card is not a final Lead Nurturing quote.

3. Qualified Piper

Inbound website and email conversion

Piper owns a different queue from the outbound agents in this list. Qualified documents an AI SDR that engages inbound buyers on the website and by email, answers questions from a configured content base, qualifies them, presents offers, schedules meetings, and can route or notify the human team.

That makes Piper relevant when demand already reaches a B2B website but human coverage is inconsistent. Qualified is built specifically around Salesforce connectivity, which can be a strength for complex routing and a constraint for teams centered on another CRM. The vendor publishes Premier, Enterprise, and Ultimate packages but no public dollar amount.

Best forSalesforce-based B2B teams converting inbound website demand.
Agent actionWebsite/email conversation, qualification, offers, and booking.
Commercial modelPremier, Enterprise, and Ultimate; quote required.

Watchout: test the content sources, disallowed answers, routing rules, calendar logic, and human takeover on real edge cases. “Always on” is useful only if the agent can refuse or escalate safely.

4. 11x Alice

Autonomous outbound SDR

Alice is the clearest “digital worker” in this comparison. 11x says it can identify buyers, research signals, personalize and execute multi-touch outreach, handle replies, and schedule meetings. The product therefore owns a broad outbound job rather than a single writing or enrichment step.

The breadth is also the evaluation risk. A team delegating targeting, messaging, sending, and reply handling needs independent acceptance checks at every boundary. 11x publishes a Growth plan card and annual packaging, but its current page contains inconsistent starting figures between the plan card and FAQ. Treat the signed order form, rather than a remembered web price, as the source of truth.

Best forTeams ready to delegate a full outbound prospecting loop.
Agent actionTargeting, research, engagement, reply handling, and booking.
Commercial modelAnnual Growth plan; Pro and Enterprise are custom.

Watchout: require a written definition of qualified prospect, allowed channels, sender infrastructure, suppression logic, reply escalation, data ownership, and current price. Audit accepted meetings rather than messages sent.

Artisan

5. Artisan Ava

Managed enterprise AI BDR

Artisan positions Ava 2.0 as an autonomous AI BDR for enterprise teams. Its documented job covers prospect identification and research, individualized messaging, email sequences, reply and objection handling, meeting booking, and preparing warm leads for reps in the dialer. Approval gates can be applied where the team wants them.

The product is sold as a rollout, not a lightweight self-serve utility. Current plans are scoped around contact volume and include onboarding and customer-success support; pricing is custom. That can help a team that wants operating support, but it also means a buyer should separate software capability from the managed service included in the proposal.

Best forEnterprise outbound teams wanting a managed AI-BDR deployment.
Agent actionResearch, outreach, replies, booking, and rep handoff.
Commercial modelTeam, Scale, and Enterprise packages; pricing scoped by plan.

Watchout: ask which work is software, which is performed by Artisan's team, and which changes require vendor support. Put approval policy, deliverability ownership, reply exceptions, and exit/data-export terms into the evaluation.

AiSDR

6. AiSDR Ami

Turnkey signal-led outbound

AiSDR describes Ami as a full-cycle outbound agent: it can identify and research prospects, monitor signals, plan a campaign, execute email and LinkedIn touches, handle replies, and book meetings. The package also includes sending infrastructure and CRM integrations, reducing the number of separate tools a small team has to connect.

The current pricing page publishes a $250-per-month Solo entry with limited monthly research volume, while larger packages add domains, mailboxes, CRM depth, signals, and support. Those package boundaries make a volume model essential: research contacts, messages, mailboxes, and managed services are different cost drivers.

Best forSmall and mid-market teams wanting agent plus infrastructure.
Agent actionResearch, campaign setup, multichannel outreach, replies, and booking.
Commercial modelSolo published at $250/month; larger packages carry more volume and support.

Watchout: confirm the billing cadence, contact and message allowances, mailbox ownership, domain portability, LinkedIn controls, and which reply types stay in copilot mode. Do not infer total cost from the smallest tier.

Regie.ai

7. RegieGO

Seller-controlled agentic prospecting

RegieGO is a self-serve agentic sales workspace rather than the former enterprise package described in older material. Its current product pages document agents that source and enrich prospects, draft messages in the seller’s voice, prepare calls, monitor why-now signals, and organize email, phone, and LinkedIn work in one queue.

The human boundary matters. Email runs from the connected Gmail or Outlook account, calls land in the dialer, and LinkedIn touches arrive as tasks the seller sends. The current pricing page offers 250 one-time credits on the free plan and 5,000 credits per month on Pro at $49 per month; credits cover research, drafting, enrichment, and dialing and do not roll over.

Best forIndividual reps and small teams wanting a self-serve prospecting workspace.
Agent actionSourcing, enrichment, research, drafting, call preparation, and follow-up queues.
Commercial modelFree with 250 one-time credits; Pro $49/month with 5,000 credits/month.

Watchout: this is not a hands-off autonomous SDR. Confirm which email actions require review, keep LinkedIn touches seller-sent, and model credit usage across research, enrichment, drafting, and dialing before increasing volume.

Nooks

8. Nooks AI Dialer

Rep-led phone execution

Nooks earns a place because it owns a bounded dialing loop without pretending to replace the live seller. The AI Dialer can prioritize contacts, run multiple dial attempts, detect human pickups, skip ringing and answering machines, drop voicemails, capture notes, log outcomes, and surface research or battlecards. The rep takes over when a person answers.

That boundary is commercially important. Nooks is an AI-assisted dialing system, not an autonomous voice SDR in this comparison. It can remove call mechanics and administrative work while leaving persuasion, objection handling, consent, and the meeting conversation with the human seller.

Best forSDR teams whose bottleneck is live phone execution.
Agent actionPrioritization, dialing, pickup detection, notes, and logging.
Commercial modelQuote required; product bundles are shown without public prices.

Watchout: verify local calling rules, consent, recording disclosures, line limits, spam-reputation controls, carrier registration, latency, and CRM disposition mapping. More dial attempts are not a quality metric.

Gong

9. Gong AI Trainer

Conversation rehearsal and coaching

Gong AI Trainer is an actual agent with a deliberately non-buyer-facing job. Reps practice against a dynamic AI customer persona built from the organization's captured conversations. The agent runs the roleplay, Gong's AI Call Reviewer evaluates the attempt against a configured scorecard, and managers can track completion and skill patterns.

This is the right category when the sales problem is consistency before the live conversation, not top-of-funnel volume. It can support onboarding, new messaging, objection practice, and role-specific scenarios. Gong documents AI Trainer as part of Gong Enable; its public pricing page uses per-user licenses plus a platform fee and requires a custom proposal.

Best forEnablement teams standardizing practice and feedback.
Agent actionSimulated buyer conversation, evaluation, and progress tracking.
Commercial modelGong Enable required; per-user and platform pricing by quote.

Watchout: validate scenario grounding, evaluation criteria, language coverage, data permissions, and whether managers can inspect why a score was assigned. A repeatable score is not automatically a valid coaching standard.

A pilot that reveals whether the agent is actually useful

  1. Write the job contract. Name the input, allowed action, success condition, forbidden action, output, owner, and stop condition. “Generate pipeline” is not a job contract.
  2. Use a fixed test set. Include perfect-fit prospects, weak fits, customers, competitors, previous opt-outs, bounced addresses, ambiguous replies, and records with missing ownership.
  3. Start in review mode. Inspect selection, evidence, message, channel, and next action. Record every correction before expanding autonomy.
  4. Test the handoff. Make interested, negative, legal, procurement, pricing, and off-topic replies arrive. Confirm the agent stops and routes each one correctly.
  5. Measure accepted work. Track work accepted without edits, false positives, unsafe actions prevented, complaints, meetings held, and downstream opportunity quality instead of emails, dials, or “tasks completed” alone.
  6. Model total cost. Include licenses, credits, data, domains, mailboxes, implementation, managed service, integrations, overages, and internal review time.

An agent deserves more autonomy only after it has earned it on the team's real edge cases. A good pilot makes errors visible and cheap. A bad pilot optimizes activity, hides exceptions, and calls every calendar booking an outcome.

Frequently asked questions

What is an AI sales agent?

An AI sales agent observes sales context, decides what to do within a defined scope, takes an action, and records or routes the result. The scope can be narrow, such as lead nurturing or call practice, and should have explicit permissions and stop conditions.

What is the best AI sales agent?

There is no universal winner because the products own different jobs. HubSpot is a strong CRM-native prospecting choice, Salesforce focuses on nurturing known records, Qualified focuses on inbound conversion, 11x, Artisan, AiSDR, and Regie focus on outbound, Nooks assists dialing, and Gong AI Trainer owns practice and evaluation.

Can an AI sales agent replace an SDR?

It can take over bounded, repeatable work, but the vendor label does not prove full-role replacement. Humans still need to own the market, offer, guardrails, exceptions, sensitive replies, live conversations, and commercial decisions.

How should a team test an AI sales agent?

Run a small controlled pilot with a fixed prospect set, explicit exclusions, an approval mode, a written handoff policy, and a review of every incorrect action. Measure accepted work, corrections, complaints, meetings, and total cost instead of activity volume alone.

Why are Overloop and YourMax.ai not ranked here?

This list is limited to products positioned around a bounded sales-agent job. Overloop is the publisher and an AI-assisted outbound platform, while YourMax.ai is a related signal-led sourcing product. Keeping both outside the ItemList avoids ranking related products beside independent vendors.
