HeyReach is a cloud LinkedIn automation platform priced per connected LinkedIn sender, from $79 per month, built for agencies and outbound teams that rotate many accounts from one inbox. Lemlist is a multichannel outbound platform priced per user, $109 per month on the Multichannel plan that carries LinkedIn steps, with native email, warm-up, calls, SMS and a 650M+ lead database included. HeyReach wins on cost per LinkedIn account at scale; Lemlist wins for a rep who wants every channel in one sequence. Every price and limit below carries the date we read it.
Disclosure first: we are Overloop, and we compete with both HeyReach and Lemlist. This comparison is built from both vendors' public pricing pages, product pages and help centers, all read on September 9, 2026, not from a paid trial. Where one of them is the better buy, we say so.
HeyReach vs Lemlist: which is better? Lemlist is the better choice for a sales team that wants email, LinkedIn, calls and SMS in one per-user sequence, with native email sending and warm-up included. HeyReach is the better choice for an agency or large outbound team that runs many LinkedIn accounts from one inbox and already sends email elsewhere. Per seat HeyReach is cheaper but sends no email. At 25 senders, HeyReach costs about a third of Lemlist's list price.
Who each tool is for
HeyReach: LinkedIn-first, priced per sender
HeyReach is a cloud LinkedIn automation platform built around one idea: connect many LinkedIn accounts to one workspace, rotate actions across them, answer every reply from one inbox. Its pricing page on September 9, 2026 says it charges "only per LinkedIn senders, not per users". Email is not native; email steps run through Instantly, Smartlead or EmailBison. Our full HeyReach review covers the product in depth.

Lemlist: multichannel sequences, priced per user
Lemlist is a multichannel outbound platform. Its homepage on September 9, 2026 describes reaching leads "via email, LinkedIn, calls, WhatsApp, and SMS from one workflow", backed by a "650M+ lead database", warm-up, a unified inbox and AI agents. It sells Email, Multichannel and Enterprise plans, and its LinkedIn page states: "You'll need the Multichannel or Enterprise plan to use LinkedIn steps in your outreach."

Pricing compared: per sender vs per user
The units differ. A HeyReach sender is one connected LinkedIn account. A Lemlist Multichannel user is one seat, listed with "5 Senders /User". Where each rep connects their own profile, one sender equals one user. For an agency connecting client profiles, HeyReach counts every profile and Lemlist counts every seat.
Prices were read on September 9, 2026 in US dollars. HeyReach: Growth at $79 per sender per month, $63 billed yearly, a volume rate of $47 per sender from 10 senders on a yearly plan, and Agency at $999 per month for 25 senders ($799 billed yearly). Lemlist: Multichannel at $109 per user per month, $87 billed yearly ("Yearly Save 20%"). Lemlist's Enterprise plan is custom priced for "teams of 5+ users", so the 10 and 25 seat Lemlist figures are list-price extrapolations, not a quote.
| Team size | HeyReach, monthly billing | HeyReach, yearly billing | Lemlist Multichannel, monthly billing | Lemlist Multichannel, yearly billing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 sender or user | $79 (Growth) | $63 | $109 | $87 |
| 3 senders or users | $237 (Growth) | $189 | $327 | $261 |
| 10 senders or users | $790 (Growth) | $470 (volume rate, $47 per sender) | $1,090 (list; Enterprise custom) | $870 (list; Enterprise custom) |
| 25 senders or users | $999 (Agency, 25 senders) | $799 (Agency) | $2,725 (list; Enterprise custom) | $2,175 (list; Enterprise custom) |
Two things the table hides. Lemlist's Email plan card, read September 9, 2026, shows $69 per month, $55 billed yearly, "Unlimited users", "50,000 emails/mo" and no LinkedIn steps. And HeyReach's price excludes email, so every HeyReach line needs a separate sequencer plus a data source, while Lemlist includes email sending, warm-up and a database with metered credits ("1 credit = $0.01", 5 credits per verified email).

LinkedIn safety and daily limits
Both tools run LinkedIn actions from the cloud, and LinkedIn's User Agreement prohibits third-party automation of any kind, Overloop's LinkedIn steps included. The question is pacing.
HeyReach documents a ceiling of 40 connection requests per day per account, recommends 25, and caps invitations at 200 per week. New accounts ramp from 5 a day in week one to 15 to 20 by week three, and steps sit at least 3 hours apart. HeyReach also says each account runs behind a dedicated residential proxy; that is a vendor claim we cannot verify.
Lemlist's "Set account limits" help article, updated the day before we read it, sets 20 connection invites, 30 profile visits and 30 messages per day as its ceilings. Its connection-request article tells new or inactive accounts to start at 50 actions a day, notes that free LinkedIn accounts get "up to 20 invites/day", flags that LinkedIn now allows only 3 invitations with a custom note per month, and advises a 24 to 48 hour pause after a restriction. On email, it recommends 30 to 40 emails per day per sending address and under 70 per day per provider.
The March 2026 LinkedIn action against HeyReach
On March 25, 2026, LinkedIn removed the HeyReach company page and restricted the personal profiles of its CEO, CTO, CRO and CMO, without notice. HeyReach described the event in a post published on August 7, 2026. Two facts matter here.
- The software kept running. According to HeyReach, "customer accounts, campaigns, and the platform itself continued operating normally", and third-party coverage agrees. The pricing page still sold LinkedIn senders on September 9, 2026, which contradicts one competitor blog's claim that HeyReach cut LinkedIn functionality within weeks.
- Lemlist has been through it before. HeyReach's own post points out that LinkedIn "has done this to every major tool in the space", naming Apollo, Seamless, Evaboot, Lemlist and La Growth Machine. An action against a vendor's marketing presence is a category signal, not a reason to switch from one cloud tool to another. A clean vendor brand would not protect an account that sends 150 invitations a day.
What did change is HeyReach's marketing channel: no brand page, no LinkedIn ads, a community moved to X, and a harder push on API, MCP and a managed "Done for you" tier. Expect it to keep moving toward agencies rather than the solo rep.
Email and multichannel depth
This is the clearest gap. Lemlist sends email natively on every plan with a deliverability hub and warm-up, and lists a unified inbox, SMS automation and a WhatsApp add-on on the Email card. Multichannel adds a built-in call dialer, VoIP integrations and task management. Its voice-message page describes cloning your voice "in 2 mins" through ElevenLabs, generating a note per lead in any language, and sending them "without ever going on LinkedIn". Sales Navigator is not required.
HeyReach's multichannel story is an integration story: its own page describes "If ignored, email follow-up via Instantly or Smartlead after X days". For an agency already paying for an email sequencer that can be the right architecture. For a team that wants LinkedIn and email in one sequence it means two tools, two invoices and two inboxes. Where HeyReach is deeper is LinkedIn at scale: several accounts on one campaign, rotated, reported per sender. Lemlist treats LinkedIn as one channel per seat, routed by conditions such as "Is in my LinkedIn network".
Integrations, API and agency tooling
HeyReach's integrations page lists about 25 tools, including HubSpot, Clay, Instantly, Smartlead, n8n and Slack, plus Zapier, Make, Pabbly and Albato; Pipedrive and Salesforce are not native. A REST API with webhooks and an MCP server ship on every plan. Lemlist's integrations page lists HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Attio, Zoho CRM and Close for CRM, Clay, Apollo and Lusha for enrichment, Zapier, Make and n8n for automation, and Aircall and Ringover for calling. API access is on all plans, alongside a Lemlist MCP, a CLI and lemAgent.
For agencies, HeyReach includes white label on Agency and Unlimited and lets seats move between workspaces. Lemlist's agency post, updated August 17, 2026, describes every client account in one place, per-client plans in one billing view, and a passwordless "External" user who sees only their reports. We found no white-label mention on Lemlist's pages.
Verdict by team type
- Lead generation agency, 10 or more client LinkedIn accounts: HeyReach. $999 for 25 senders with white label is a price no per-user tool matches. Keep Lemlist or another sequencer for email.
- Sales team of 1 to 8 reps that wants email plus LinkedIn: Lemlist. One seat covers native email, LinkedIn steps with voice notes, calls and SMS. HeyReach is $30 cheaper per seat, but that goes on an email tool.
- Outbound team of 8 or more, LinkedIn primary, email handled elsewhere: HeyReach, especially at the yearly volume rate of $47 per sender from 10 senders.
- Founder or solo seller: Lemlist if you need both channels; the cheaper single-account tools in our LinkedIn outreach tools comparison if you only need LinkedIn.
- Team that needs conditional sequences: Lemlist, whose conditions ship on every plan, over HeyReach's single accepted-or-not branch.
If neither fits, our HeyReach alternatives and Lemlist alternatives guides rank the substitutes.
Where Overloop fits
Cards on the table. Overloop is our product, and it sits on Lemlist's side of this comparison. It runs email and LinkedIn steps in one sequence, sources prospects from an advertised 450M+ B2B contact database or from LinkedIn through a Chrome extension, and prices per user: $69 per month on Starter with 250 credits and 1 email account, $99 on Growth with 500 credits and 3 email accounts. HubSpot and Pipedrive integrations are on Growth, Salesforce on Enterprise. The trial is 14 days, no credit card.
Against Lemlist, Overloop is $40 a month cheaper per seat on the entry plan and does not sell calls or SMS; the Overloop vs Lemlist comparison walks through the trade. Against HeyReach, Overloop is not built to rotate 25 client accounts; it is built for a rep who wants list, email and LinkedIn in one place.
Want LinkedIn and email in the same sequence?
Overloop runs both channels natively and includes the prospect database, from $69 per user per month.

Is HeyReach or Lemlist better for LinkedIn outreach?
HeyReach is better for running many LinkedIn accounts from one inbox, the agency use case. Lemlist is better for a sales team that wants LinkedIn steps alongside native email, calls and SMS per user. On September 9, 2026, HeyReach priced 25 senders at $999 per month; 25 Lemlist Multichannel users list at $2,725. For small teams, Lemlist's included email offsets its higher seat price.
How much does Lemlist cost compared with HeyReach?
As read on September 9, 2026, Lemlist's Multichannel plan is $109 per user per month, or $87 billed yearly; its Email plan is $69 per month, or $55 billed yearly, without LinkedIn steps. HeyReach's Growth plan is $79 per LinkedIn sender per month, or $63 billed yearly, and its Agency plan is $999 per month for 25 senders. Both quote in US dollars.
Does Lemlist include LinkedIn automation on every plan?
No. Lemlist's LinkedIn product page, read on September 9, 2026, says you need the Multichannel or Enterprise plan for LinkedIn steps; the help center confirms they are not on the Email plan. The 14-day free trial gives full Multichannel access, LinkedIn included.
Was HeyReach banned by LinkedIn, and does it affect Lemlist users?
Partly. On March 25, 2026, LinkedIn removed the HeyReach company page and restricted its executives' profiles, per HeyReach's account published August 7, 2026. The software kept running. HeyReach notes LinkedIn has hit other vendors before, Lemlist included. It is a category signal, not a verdict on any customer's account.
Which tool is safer for my LinkedIn account?
Neither can promise safety, because LinkedIn's User Agreement prohibits third-party automation. Lemlist publishes ceilings of 20 invites, 30 profile visits and 30 messages per day. HeyReach publishes a ceiling of 40 connection requests per day, recommends 25 and caps invitations at 200 per week. Pace, account age and behavior matter more than the logo on the invoice.
Can I use HeyReach and Lemlist together?
Yes: HeyReach for LinkedIn sender rotation and Lemlist for native email, connected through Zapier, Make or n8n, which both vendors list. HeyReach names Instantly, Smartlead and EmailBison as its email partners, not Lemlist, so the handoff is a custom automation rather than a native connector.
