Most of your website traffic is anonymous, and the tools that fix that differ on two things that matter more than price: whether they name a person or only a company, and which markets their matching graph actually covers. Nine tools compared, with every figure read off the vendor's own pricing page on August 22, 2026.

The short answer: Website visitor tracking turns anonymous traffic into a named company or a named person you can contact. Three tiers exist in practice. Free plans that cap volume, from Leadfeeder Lite at the last 100 companies a month and RB2B at 150 resolutions. Paid plans from EUR 59 to $199 a month that add contact data and integrations. And bundled platforms from $10,000 a year that pair identification with on-site engagement. What none of them do is write the follow-up, which is why identification is usually the cheaper half of the stack.

What decides this choice, in order

  • Resolution level first. RB2B names an individual on its paid tiers. Leadfeeder, Albacross and Lead Forensics name the visiting company and leave contact selection to the rep.
  • Market coverage second. Person-level matching is deepest on United States traffic. Leadfeeder and Albacross price in euros and market to European buyers at company level.
  • Three tools are free to start: Leadfeeder Lite at 100 companies a month, RB2B Free at 150 resolutions, Koala at 100 credits and two seats.
  • The paid mid-range is tight: Albacross from EUR 59 a month, Leadfeeder from EUR 79, RB2B from $79, Koala at $200. Published prices, no demo required.
  • Two vendors publish nothing. Lead Forensics prices on your traffic volume, so the bill grows with marketing success, and 6sense gates everything behind a demo.

How this comparison was built

This is a desk comparison, not a hands-on test. On August 22, 2026 every vendor's own pricing page was read and the figures transcribed as published, with the billing period and the credit or seat limits attached to each tier. Where a vendor publishes no figure, that is recorded as published rather than estimated, because an unpublished price is itself a buying consideration.

No performance claim here comes from a vendor marketing page. Coverage is described from vendor product documentation. Currency is reproduced as shown, which is why some tools appear in euros.

One column is missing from every vendor's own comparison table, and it is the one that decides whether you renew: match rate on your traffic. No vendor publishes it, because it depends entirely on your audience. That is why the free tiers matter more than the feature lists. Two weeks of Leadfeeder Lite and RB2B Free costs nothing and tells you what a paid tier would actually surface.

1. Overloop logoOverloop

What it watches: Execution layer: takes a signal list and runs email plus LinkedIn sequences

Starter is $69 per user per month with 250 credits, one mailbox per user and three campaigns. Growth is $99 per user per month with 500 credits, three mailboxes and the published HubSpot and Pipedrive integrations. Enterprise is a custom price with 1,000 credits per user, unlimited mailboxes and campaigns, and the Salesforce integration. All tiers include the 450M contact database, email verification and LinkedIn steps.

Where it stops: Overloop does not generate third-party intent data. It is the layer that turns a signal you already have into sequenced outreach.

Price source: Overloop pricing page, read August 22, 2026.

2. RB2B logoRB2B

What it watches: Person-level identification of anonymous US website visitors

The free plan resolves 150 visitors a month at company level and pushes to Slack, with no person-level identification and no email addresses. Starter is $79 a month for 300 resolutions with LinkedIn URLs. Pro is $149 a month and adds business email addresses and all integrations. Pro plus is $199 a month with premium resolution. A seven-day full-featured trial is offered on every tier.

Where it stops: Identification is focused on United States traffic, so European pipelines see thinner coverage.

Price source: RB2B pricing page, read August 22, 2026.

3. Albacross logoAlbacross

What it watches: Company-level website identification with European data coverage

Starter is EUR 59 a month billed yearly, or EUR 84 monthly, for up to 100 identified companies a month with ten verified email credits and five phone credits. Professional is EUR 149 a month yearly, or EUR 213 monthly, for up to 500 companies with unlimited outreach sequences and LinkedIn Ads integration. Organisation is custom on annual billing only, from 501 companies upward. Extra email credits run from EUR 0.30 down to EUR 0.16 depending on volume.

Where it stops: Identification is company level and the included contact credits are small, so most teams pay again for contact data.

Price source: Albacross pricing page, read August 22, 2026.

4. Leadfeeder (Dealfront) logoLeadfeeder (Dealfront)

What it watches: Company-level website visitor identification with intent filtering

Lite is free forever and shows the last 100 identified companies a month with seven days of history and unlimited users. Discover is EUR 79 a month billed annually, or EUR 113 monthly. Activate is EUR 369 a month annually, or EUR 527 monthly, and adds verified emails and intent signal filtering. Scale is EUR 599 a month on annual billing with free company data export and a dedicated CSM.

Where it stops: Identification is company level, not person level, so the rep still has to pick the contact.

Price source: Leadfeeder (Dealfront) pricing page, read August 22, 2026.

5. Koala logoKoala

What it watches: Product and website intent scoring for product-led motions

The free plan includes 100 credits a month and two seats with the full feature set. Starter is $200 a month for 1,000 credits and two seats. Growth is $1,000 a month for 5,000 credits and three seats, with a fourteen-day trial. Business is custom. Every tier carries the same features and differs on credits, seats and support.

Where it stops: Strongest where you have product usage to read. Thin if your motion is pure cold outbound.

Price source: Koala pricing page, read August 22, 2026.

6. Unify logoUnify

What it watches: Warm outbound built on website, research and social signals

The free plan carries limited credits and up to three seats. Base is $20 per seat per month with 800 credits per seat. Pro is $60 per seat per month with 2,400 credits per seat and a fourteen-day trial. Business is a custom annual price with a shared credit pool. Top-up credits do not auto-renew and carry over for up to twelve months.

Where it stops: Credit consumption is the real cost driver, so per-seat pricing understates the bill on high-volume workspaces.

Price source: Unify pricing page, read August 22, 2026.

7. Warmly logoWarmly

What it watches: Web de-anonymisation, inbound chat and social signal monitoring

AI Web-Deanonymization is $10,000 a year, Inbound Chat is $20,000 a year and AI Inbound Autopilot is $30,000 a year, each from 10,000 credits a month. Quarterly billing is $4,875, $6,500 and $9,750 respectively. The GTM Signals Package is a separate add-on at $10,000 a year, and Warm Experiences is another $10,000 a year.

Where it stops: Signals are an add-on, not part of the base plan. Adding them to the entry tier doubles the annual cost.

Price source: Warmly pricing page, read August 22, 2026.

8. Lead Forensics

What it watches: Website visitor identification priced on traffic volume

Two tiers are named on the pricing page, Essentials and Automate, with no figure against either. The page states that pricing is calculated based on your website visitors and that unlimited users are included. The route to a number is a demo followed by a trial.

Where it stops: Traffic-based pricing means your bill rises with marketing success, and you cannot model it before the call.

Price source: Lead Forensics pricing page, read August 22, 2026.

9. Clay logoClay

What it watches: Data orchestration with signal triggers built from many sources

The free tier gives 500 actions and 100 data credits a month. Launch starts at $54 a month billed annually, or $167 monthly, for 15,000 actions and 3,000 data credits. Growth starts at $185 a month annually, or $446 monthly, for 40,000 actions and 6,000 data credits. Enterprise is custom with 200,000 or more actions.

Where it stops: Clay is a build-it-yourself surface. The signal quality is whatever you wire into it, and credits are consumed per action.

Price source: Clay pricing page, read August 22, 2026.

Company level, person level, and why it changes the play

These are not two grades of the same product. They produce different work.

Company-level identification tells you Acme visited your pricing page. The rep still has to decide who at Acme to contact, find the address and verify it. That is fine for account-based motions where the target contact is already known, and it is close to useless for long-tail traffic where nobody has mapped the account.

Person-level identification names the individual and, on RB2B's Pro tier at $149 a month, supplies a business email address. That removes two steps and makes long-tail traffic actionable. It is also the capability with the sharpest geographic limit, because the underlying graph is much thinner outside the United States.

The mistake to avoid is buying person-level coverage for a market where the graph is thin, then concluding that visitor tracking does not work. Test the geography before you test the vendor.

A two-week test that costs nothing

Vendor demos run on mature accounts with clean data. Your own traffic is the only honest test, and the free tiers make it free.

  1. Days one to seven, instrument. Turn on Leadfeeder Lite and RB2B Free together. One gives company-level coverage, the other person-level, at no cost.
  2. Count recognisable target accounts, not total identifications. Recruiters, competitors, students and your own team will be in there. If fewer than about twenty target accounts appear in a week, your traffic is not yet a signal source and no paid tier changes that.
  3. Days eight to fourteen, act by hand. Twenty manual messages that reference the page topic, not the timestamp. Track replies against your normal cold baseline.
  4. Then price it. If manual outreach on identified visitors beats your cold baseline, you know what an identification is worth in replies and can compare that against EUR 59 or $10,000 a year with a number instead of a feeling.

If it clears the bar, the bottleneck moves immediately to execution. Overloop's sales prospecting software page covers how an identified list becomes a sequenced email and LinkedIn campaign, with credit limits and CRM availability per plan.

Frequently asked questions

What is website visitor tracking?

Website visitor tracking identifies the companies or people browsing your site anonymously, by matching an IP address or device signal against a vendor's graph, then reporting the match to Slack, your CRM or an outbound tool. Company-level tools name the account. Person-level tools name the individual and sometimes supply a verified business email address.

Is there free website visitor tracking?

Yes. Leadfeeder Lite is free forever and shows the last 100 identified companies a month with seven days of history and unlimited users. RB2B Free resolves 150 visitors a month at company level and pushes to Slack, without person-level identification or email addresses. Koala's free plan gives 100 credits and two seats with the full feature set.

How much does website visitor tracking cost?

Published prices run from free to $199 a month for standalone tools. Albacross Starter is EUR 59 a month billed yearly, Leadfeeder Discover is EUR 79 a month annually, RB2B Starter is $79 a month and Koala Starter is $200 a month. Bundled platforms cost more: Warmly starts at $10,000 a year. Lead Forensics and 6sense publish no figure.

Which tool identifies individual people, not just companies?

RB2B resolves at person level on its paid tiers and pushes LinkedIn URLs, adding business email addresses from the $149 Pro plan. Warmly also de-anonymises at person level as part of a bundle starting at $10,000 a year. Leadfeeder, Albacross and Lead Forensics identify the visiting company rather than the individual.

Does visitor tracking work for European traffic?

Company-level identification works well in Europe and both Leadfeeder and Albacross price in euros and market to European buyers. Person-level identification is thinner outside the United States, which is the practical limit on RB2B for European pipelines. Treat vendor-stated coverage as the answer for your market and take compliance questions to your own counsel.

Why does Lead Forensics not publish pricing?

Lead Forensics states that pricing is calculated based on your website visitor volume, with unlimited users included. Two tiers are named, Essentials and Automate, with no figures. The consequence is that the cost cannot be modelled before a sales call and rises as traffic grows, which is the opposite of how most teams want to budget a fixed tool.

What match rate should I expect?

No vendor publishes one, because it depends on your audience geography, device mix and traffic composition. That is why the free tiers are the only reliable evaluation. Run two of them together for a week and count recognisable target accounts rather than total identifications.

Do I need an outbound tool as well?

In practice yes. Identification tools detect and route. They do not source contact data at scale, verify addresses, write the opener or run the follow-up sequence. Teams that buy only identification usually accumulate alerts nobody acts on, which is why the execution layer decides whether the spend pays back.

An identified visitor is not a meeting yet.

Overloop turns an identified account into a sequenced email and LinkedIn campaign, with sourcing, verification and reporting in one place. Starter is $69 per user per month.
