ContactOut is popular with recruiters for a simple reason: on a LinkedIn profile, the extension shows personal and work emails and phone numbers, and the paid plan says unlimited. The limits show up elsewhere: the paid plans allow 1 user per company, the export cap is the real meter, and the headline prices are struck-through promotions. This guide compares 9 alternatives on how they source data, what an entry plan costs, and what one phone number costs in dollars.
Publisher disclosure: Overloop publishes this guide and is our first recommendation for SMB teams that want contact data and outreach in one tool. The other 8 options address specific requirements, and several beat Overloop on raw phone volume per dollar. Recommendations use public vendor sources read on September 28, 2026; we did not run a comparative product trial. Method and dated sources.
Quick comparison: ContactOut and 9 alternatives
Prices read on each vendor's official pricing page on September 28, 2026. The price per phone number is our arithmetic from those pages.

Entry price and price per phone number are computed from the vendor pricing page as read on September 28, 2026: plan price divided by the phone numbers it includes, or pack price divided by credits multiplied by credits per number. Annual prices require an annual commitment. Taxes, seat minimums and add-ons change the total. The Overloop cell stays in credits: 5 per revealed number, charged only when a number is found.
What changes when you leave ContactOut
- ContactOut's paid plans state 1 user per company; every alternative here except UpLead's lower tiers sells multi-user access.
- ContactOut meters exports, not phones: about $0.17 per exported contact with US and UK data, $0.08 without, while the promotion lasts; at the struck-through $199 it would be about $0.33.
- Among metered tools, Apollo is the lowest at about $0.16 per number; Kaspr, Lusha and Wiza sit near $0.47 to $0.49.
- Export caps are the hidden meter at ContactOut, Wiza and RocketReach; credit caps are the meter at Lusha, Kaspr and Apollo.
- Overloop runs email and LinkedIn sequences and Apollo runs email sequences; ContactOut, Lusha and RocketReach list lighter email features.
- Every price was read on the vendor page on September 28, 2026 and will move.
ContactOut today: what an alternative must replace
On September 28, 2026 the ContactOut pricing page listed these plans with US and UK data included. A toggle that excludes US and UK data halves the paid prices, to $25 and $49. The paid prices were shown struck through and labelled limited time only.
| ContactOut plan | Price shown | Emails | Phones | Exports | Users |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 5 a day | 5 a day | 5 a day | 1 |
| $49 a month, struck through from $99 | Unlimited | Not included | 300 a month | 1 user per company | |
| Email + Phone | $99 a month, struck through from $199 | Unlimited | Unlimited | 600 a month | 1 user per company |
| Team / API | Contact us | Bulk license | Bulk license | Custom | Team management |
Source: ContactOut pricing, read September 28, 2026.

The page also lists a cloud phone dialer, email campaigns, Gmail enrichment and an API among the features, and a sales use-case page advertising unlimited sales users for $299. So an alternative has to replace an extension that reveals personal and work contact data, a generous reveal allowance, and a low entry price. Most tools below trade the unlimited reveal for team seats, a waterfall or outreach.
1. Overloop: best for teams that want the number, the email and the sequence in one tool
Best for: SMB sales teams that want to find phone numbers and emails and then run email and LinkedIn sequences from the same prospect record, at a published per-seat price.
Overloop is our first recommendation, and we publish this guide, so weigh that. ContactOut is built for one person revealing contacts, and its paid plans stop at 1 user per company. Overloop is priced per user for a team, finds the email and the phone number on the prospect record, and runs the email and LinkedIn sequence from the same seat.
Overloop finds a phone number from the prospect record. You click Find phone on one prospect, or run it in bulk on a list, and Overloop checks several phone-data sources in sequence and stops at the first match. It charges 5 credits per revealed number, and only when a number is found; an empty search uses no phone-search credits. The number stays on the prospect and exports to CSV. Overloop documents the flow on its phone number finder page.

Overloop pricing is per user. Starter is $69 per user per month with 250 credits and 1 connected email account. Growth is $99 per user per month with 500 credits and 3 connected email accounts. The same credits source prospects from Overloop's advertised 450M+ B2B contact database and find emails, and the seat also runs email and LinkedIn sequences and a Chrome extension that adds LinkedIn profiles as prospects. We do not quote a dollar price per phone number for Overloop in this guide; the credit rule and plan prices are on Overloop pricing.
Limits to know: there is no built-in dialer, so revealed numbers go to your calling tool or a CSV. The lookup works best when the prospect record carries a LinkedIn profile; a name alone may not be enough. Finding a number does not confirm that it is current or a mobile. LinkedIn steps in sequences stay subject to LinkedIn's rules, and CRM integration scope varies by plan. We publish no match rate for Overloop, because a rate measured on our lists would not predict yours.
Choose it over ContactOut when: you are a sales team rather than a solo researcher, and the number has to go into outreach. Stay with ContactOut when: you are one recruiter who reveals far more than you export, at the promotional price. Source: Overloop pricing, read September 28, 2026.
2. RocketReach: best for person search with refunds on empty lookups
Best for: researchers and recruiters who look people up by name and company, on or off LinkedIn.
RocketReach meters lookups and exports rather than credits. On September 28, 2026 the annual-billing view listed Essentials at $19 per month, billed $229 a year, for email only and 1,200 exports a year; Pro at $52 per month, billed $619 a year, with unlimited verified mobile and direct phone numbers and 3,600 exports a year; and Ultimate at $115 per month, billed $1,379 a year, with 20,000 exports a year. On monthly billing the plans carry 100, 250 and 1,000 lookups a month, and the page says annual billing saves 50 percent, which is exact only on Essentials; on Pro and Ultimate it saves about a third. A lookup is used only when a verified email or phone is found, otherwise it is refunded. Free accounts get 5 lookups, and team plans start at $6,000 a year.
Price per number: on Pro, $619 a year for 3,600 exports is about $0.17 per exported contact with a phone included when one is found.
Limits to know: phone numbers start on Pro, and team plans start at $6,000 a year. See our RocketReach alternatives.
Pick it when: you want a lookup refunded when nothing verified comes back, and more than one user. Source: RocketReach pricing, read September 28, 2026.
3. Wiza: best for exporting whole Sales Navigator lists
Best for: users who build lists in Sales Navigator and want them exported with emails and phones.
Wiza is a LinkedIn and Sales Navigator extension that exports profiles with verified emails and phone numbers into a CSV or a CRM. On September 28, 2026 its pricing page listed, on monthly billing, Free with 20 valid emails and 5 phone numbers, Starter at $49 per user per month with 100 emails and 100 phone numbers, Email at $99 with 500 emails and phone numbers at $0.35 each, and Email + Phone at $199 with 500 emails and 500 phone numbers. On annual billing, Email is $83 per user per month ($990 a year) with unlimited email reveals, $0.35 per phone number and 2,500 exports a month, and Email + Phone is $166 per user per month ($1,990 a year) with unlimited phone reveals and 2,500 exports a month. A Team plan for 3 or more users is custom.

Price per number: Starter is $0.49 per phone number ($49 for 100), extras are $0.35, Email + Phone on monthly billing is about $0.40 ($199 for 500), and the annual Email + Phone plan is capped by exports rather than phones, which puts the ceiling near $0.07 per exported contact if you use all 30,000 exports a year.
Limits to know: phone numbers cost extra on the Email plans, and the annual unlimited plans cap exports at 2,500 a month.
Pick it when: you need more exports than ContactOut's 600 a month. Source: Wiza pricing, read September 28, 2026.
4. Lusha: best for a team-ready extension with a free tier
Best for: small sales teams that want an extension, a web platform and CRM integrations, with more than 1 user.
Lusha is a contact database with a browser extension, a web platform and CRM integrations. On September 28, 2026 its pricing page, on yearly billing, listed Free at $0 with 40 credits a month, Starter at $37.45 per month with 4,800 credits a year, Pro at $52.45 per month with 7,200 credits a year, and Premium at $299.95 per month with 40,800 credits a year. An email reveal costs 1 credit and a phone number costs 5 credits.
Price per number: Starter costs $449.40 a year for 4,800 credits. Spent only on phones, that is 960 numbers, so about $0.47 per phone number. Every email you reveal comes out of the same pool. The Free plan now lists automated email sequences among its features.
Limits to know: emails and phones share one credit pool; no unlimited reveals.
Pick it when: you need 2 to 5 seats on a published price. Source: Lusha pricing, read September 28, 2026.
5. Kaspr: best for LinkedIn reveals with unlimited B2B emails
Best for: sellers who reveal on LinkedIn profiles and want unlimited B2B emails with a fixed phone allowance.
Kaspr is a LinkedIn extension that reveals phone numbers and emails from profiles, Sales Navigator lists and searches. On September 28, 2026 its pricing page listed Free at $0 with 5 phone credits a month, Starter at $49 per month billed annually or $65 monthly with 100 phone credits a month, Business at $79 annually or $99 monthly with 200 phone credits a month, and a custom Enterprise plan. Paid plans include unlimited B2B email credits. Extra phone credits cost $0.36 each for a pack of 250, $0.31 for 500 and $0.28 for 1,000.
Price per number: Starter is $588 a year for 1,200 phone credits, so $0.49 per phone number on annual billing and $0.65 on monthly billing. Business on annual billing works out at about $0.40.
Limits to know: phone credits are capped at 100 or 200 a month per plan.
Pick it when: you want shared team credits rather than a 1-user plan. Source: Kaspr pricing, read September 28, 2026.
6. Apollo.io: best for volume and sequences at a published price
Best for: teams that want a large database, email sequences and phone numbers at about $0.16 each.
Apollo combines a large contact database with email sequences, a US dialer and deal management. On September 28, 2026 its pricing page listed Free at $0 with 900 credits per seat per year, Basic at $49 per seat per month billed annually with 30,000 credits per seat per year, Professional at $79 with 48,000 credits, and Organization at $119 with a 3-seat minimum and 72,000 credits. Accessing a phone number uses 8 credits and enrichment uses up to 9 credits per record. The page shows a 14-day trial on paid plans and a 24 percent saving on annual billing.
Price per number: Basic is $588 a year for 30,000 credits, which is 3,750 phone numbers at 8 credits each, so about $0.16 per phone number. That is the lowest credit-metered phone rate in this guide, provided you use the credits within the year.
Limits to know: a US-only dialer, no native LinkedIn sequence channel, annual credits.
Pick it when: you outgrew one-user pricing and want the most numbers per seat. Source: Apollo pricing, read September 28, 2026.
7. Seamless.AI: best for US teams that want search and engagement on a contract
Best for: US sales teams that want a real-time search engine, CRM enrichment and an engagement layer from one vendor.
Seamless.AI is a US-centric contact search engine with a Chrome extension, CRM enrichment, buyer intent and job-change add-ons, and an engagement layer it calls Connect. On September 28, 2026 its pricing page listed Free for 1 user with 50 credits, Pro per user with annual credit packages behind a contact-sales button, and custom Enterprise with unlimited users. The FAQ says Pro plans start at 10,000 annual credits and that a credit is used when Seamless.AI researches a contact to find emails, phone numbers and insights. A banner said all plans now include Connect for email, calls and tasks, labelled limited time.

Price per number: not published. No Pro or Enterprise price appears on the page, so you only learn the cost per contact on a sales call.
Limits to know: no published paid price and annual credit packages. See our Seamless.AI alternatives.
Pick it when: procurement is fine with a quote and you want intent and job-change add-ons. Source: Seamless.AI pricing, read September 28, 2026.
8. FullEnrich: best for enriching lists, paid only on found data
Best for: teams that already have lists and want mobiles and emails from 25+ sources with unlimited users.
FullEnrich is a waterfall enrichment engine: you upload a list, call the API or use its MCP server, and it queries 25+ sources in turn. On September 28, 2026 the pricing page showed a Free trial with 50 credits and no card, Pro from 500 credits a month, and a custom Enterprise plan. The page displayed euros to our European visitor (€55 a month for 1,000 credits, €0.055 per credit); FullEnrich's machine-readable pricing summary, which states that it mirrors the public page, gives the USD tiers: $29 a month for 500 credits, $55 for 1,000, $499 for 10,000 and $3,500 for 100,000, with annual plans from $26 a month. A mobile number costs 10 credits, a work email 1 and a personal email 3. Credits are spent only when data is found and verified, and a landline returned instead of a mobile costs nothing. Users are unlimited, and credits roll over for 3 months on monthly plans and 12 months on annual plans.

Price per number: $55 buys 1,000 credits, or 100 mobiles, so $0.55 per mobile found on the 1,000-credit tier, $0.49 on the 12,000-credit annual tier ($588 a year), and $0.35 on the 100,000-credit monthly tier. FullEnrich states its email and phone find rate averages around 80 percent, and that it depends on industry and geography.
Limits to know: no extension and no outreach; you work through CSV, API or HubSpot push.
Pick it when: you need team access without per-seat pricing. Source: FullEnrich pricing and its machine-readable summary, read September 28, 2026.
9. UpLead: best for a flat price per contact with verification
Best for: small teams that want email and mobile direct dial in one credit and an email verification step.
UpLead is a B2B contact database with real-time email verification. One credit unlocks one contact, email and mobile direct dial included. On September 28, 2026 its pricing page listed a 7-day free trial with 5 credits, Essentials at $99 per month with 170 credits or $74 per month billed yearly with 2,040 credits a year, Plus at $199 per month with 400 credits or $149 per month billed yearly with 4,800 credits a year, and a custom Professional team plan. Additional credits cost $0.60 or $0.50 each depending on plan. The page states a 95 percent email accuracy rate; treat that as a vendor claim.

Price per contact: Essentials yearly is $888 for 2,040 contacts, so about $0.44 per contact, $0.58 on monthly billing, and about $0.37 on Plus yearly. That is a price per contact unlocked, not per phone number: the cost per number is higher on any segment where UpLead has no mobile on file.
Limits to know: Free, Essentials and Plus are single-user, like ContactOut's paid plans; teams need the custom Professional plan.
Pick it when: you want to pay per contact rather than per month of unlimited reveals. Source: UpLead pricing, read September 28, 2026.
Other ContactOut alternatives worth a look
Other roundups for this query also list the tools below. We did not price them here, because they cover a narrower part of the ContactOut job.
- LeadIQ: a prospecting extension that captures contacts from LinkedIn into the CRM, built for sales teams rather than solo users.
- SignalHire: a contact-finding extension used by recruiters, the other large ContactOut audience.
- GetProspect: an email finder with a LinkedIn extension, a fit if you mainly used ContactOut for emails.
- Hunter: an email finder and verifier that works from a company domain; it does not sell phone numbers.
How to choose a ContactOut alternative
| If your priority is... | Shortlist | What to verify before buying |
|---|---|---|
| More than 1 user on a published price | Lusha, Kaspr, Apollo, Overloop | Seat price, shared credits, phone allowance |
| More exports per month | Wiza, RocketReach | Export caps, phone on the plan, annual commitment |
| Pay only for found data | RocketReach, FullEnrich, Overloop | Refund or no-charge rule |
| Numbers into sequences | Overloop, Apollo | Sequence channels, CRM scope by plan |
| Search and intent on a contract | Seamless.AI | Quote, credit package, add-ons |
Price 600 exported contacts with phones a month, ContactOut's Email + Phone cap. At Wiza annual Email + Phone that fits inside 2,500 exports. At Apollo it is 4,800 credits a month, well beyond a Basic seat's 30,000-a-year pool. At Kaspr it needs add-on phone credits beyond the 200 on Business. At Overloop it is 3,000 credits if every contact gets a number, charged only on found numbers, across the seats that also send the sequences.
Frequently asked questions
How much does ContactOut cost?
On September 28, 2026 ContactOut listed Free with 5 emails, 5 phones and 5 exports a day, Email at $49 a month struck through from $99 and Email + Phone at $99 a month struck through from $199, both with US and UK data included, and quoted Team and API plans. The paid prices were labelled limited time only, and a toggle excluding US and UK data cut them by 50 percent, to $25 and $49.
Is ContactOut free?
There is a free plan with 5 emails, 5 phones and 5 exports a day, limited to 1 user per company. Other free tiers: Lusha 40 credits a month, Apollo 900 credits per seat per year, RocketReach 5 lookups, Wiza 20 emails and 5 phone numbers.
Can a team use ContactOut?
Not on the self-serve plans, which state 1 user per company. Teams go through the quoted Team plan. Lusha, Kaspr, Apollo and Overloop sell multi-user seats at published prices.
ContactOut vs RocketReach: which is better?
RocketReach Pro is cheaper per month for one person: $619 a year, about $52 a month, with unlimited phones and 3,600 exports a year; it refunds empty lookups and supports team plans from $6,000 a year. ContactOut gives more exports: 600 a month with unlimited phones for $99 a month with US and UK data, or $49 without, while the promotion lasts.
What is the best ContactOut alternative?
For numbers that go straight into email and LinkedIn sequences, Overloop, our first recommendation; Overloop publishes this guide. For team seats, Lusha or Kaspr. For volume, Apollo, at about $0.16 per number. For more exports, Wiza.
How we compared ContactOut alternatives
This is desk research on documented capabilities and public pricing, not a lab test. On September 28, 2026 we opened each vendor's official pricing page as a logged-out visitor in a browser and recorded the entry price, the phone allowance or credit cost, and the plan structure. Where a vendor publishes no price, we say so rather than estimate one. We excluded star ratings, modelled savings and third-party price estimates, and we quote match or find rates only as the vendor's own statement. The criteria, in order of weight:
- Phone data approach. A single proprietary database, a waterfall across several providers, or an extension that reveals one profile at a time?
- Price per phone number. Plan price divided by the phone numbers it includes, or pack price divided by credits and multiplied by the credits one number costs. Where a vendor meters exports or contacts instead, we say so.
- What happens after the reveal. Does the number stay in the tool, export to CSV, sync to a CRM, or feed a sequence?
- Buying friction. Card and 5 minutes, or demo, quote and annual contract?

Bottom line
ContactOut is a strong deal for one person while the promotion holds: unlimited reveals and 600 exports a month for $99, or $49 without US and UK data. It stops being one when a second seller joins, when exports run out, or when the list has to become a campaign. Lusha and Kaspr for team seats, Apollo for volume, Wiza and RocketReach for exports.
For teams that call and email the same prospects, Overloop finds the email and the phone number on the prospect record, charges 5 credits per number only when one is found, and runs the email and LinkedIn sequence from the same seat. Overloop lists its plans on its pricing page and explains the lookup on its phone number finder page.
